MAY 31, 2024—June is Indigenous History Month, a time to celebrate the history, heritage and diversity of Indigenous communities. It is a time to recognize and learn about the sacrifices, cultures, contributions and strength of First Nations, Inuit and Métis people and to continue the work of the Truth and Reconciliation’s Calls to Action.
National Indigenous Peoples Day is held annually on June 21st, the summer solstice. This is a special day for all Canadians to recognize and celebrate the unique heritage, diverse cultures and outstanding contributions of Indigenous peoples.

Every Regina Public School and High School has a School Community Council (SCC). These SCCs were mandated by the Provincial Government to replace parent teacher associations; school councils; and home and school associations.

December 12, 2022 -- Kids Help Phone is Canada’s only 24/7 e-mental health service offering free, confidential support to young people in English and French.
Mental health tips and info - With Kids Help Phone’s web resources, young people can get information about how their thoughts, feelings and behaviours are connected and what they can do to care for their well-being.
Crisis support - If young people need help right now, they can text or Facebook message a trained, volunteer crisis responder at Kids Help Phone about anything they are going through. No issue is too big or too small.
