THOM COLLEGIATE'S BEAT CANCER FUNDRAISING EVENT 2025!!
Thom Collegiate has a rich history of running a fundraising campaign called Beat Cancer. Since 1997 Thom Collegiate has spent one week every spring raising money for cancer research. We have proudly raised over $253,000 since the tradition was started. This year Beat Cancer week is April 14-17 and we will be donating funds to the Cancer Foundation of Saskatchewan.

Throughout this week we will have several activities to have fun and raise money. We will be having a noon BBQ, a jail and bail games day, a movie afternoon and a dance. A punch card will be available for purchase through School Cash Online that will get students the BBQ, the movie, and the dance. The advisory classes will also be doing their part by creating fun ways to raise money for this important event. For example, our auto shop will be setting up a car wash, one class is holding a chess tournament and one a Maria Kart tournament! Those are just a few fun things, there will be lots of other ways for students to spend/donate money this week! All money gets donated to the Alan Blair Cancer Clinic, helping people right here in our community!
Another project that we are planning, that will need support from our community, is our Bottle Drop Off day planned for Saturday April 12 from 12 to 3pm in front of the school. We could use your help and connections by bringing your bottles during this time and by spreading the word to friends and neighbours! Your help is greatly appreciated.
Pledge sheets will also be available should anyone want to donate a lump sum. Parents are also able to donate on School Cash. Any donations of $20 or more will get a charitable tax receipt.
