rpscommunications Mon, 04/20/2026 - 07:15APRIL 15, 2026—On October 14, 2026, Regina Public Schools is hosting a post-secondary grad fair at the mâmawêyatitân centre at 3355-6th Avenue in Regina from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. We encourage all Regina Public high school students to attend with their families. This post-secondary grad fair will showcase over 60 post-secondary institutions, employers, and community organizations available in Saskatchewan and across many provinces. In addition, there will be businesses on site for potential employment opportunities.
rpscommunications Wed, 04/15/2026 - 11:17MARCH 9, 2026—Congratulations to Megan Long for receiving the Melody Boulet Top Official Award! Originally from Sturgeon Country, AB, Megan found her way to Saskatchewan to play defence for the University of Regina Cougars in 2020. Megan, who is a teacher at Martin Collegiate in Regina, is currently in her fifth season of officiating and has quickly worked her way up the ladder. She recently became a High Performance Official and skated at this year's National U18 tournament.

MARCH 2, 2026—Grade 8 girls are invited to register for Saskatchewan Polytechnic's Women in Trades & Technology (WITT) "Young Women's Conference" on Friday, March 27, 2026. The event is free and breakfast and lunch will be provided. The purpose of the day is to provide girls with an opportunity to learn more about skilled trades and technology careers.

rpscommunications Mon, 02/09/2026 - 11:15January 28, 2026 -- Regina Public Schools’ Seven Stones School, representatives of the Regina Food Bank, the Regina Board of Education and Regina Public Schools senior administration announced a new partnership for the benefit of students and their learning.
The Federal Government’s National School Food Program (NSFP) teamed with the support of the Government of Saskatchewan has provided funding to help feed students and bolster the nutrition programs that Regina Public Schools already had in place. Working to leverage this funding, the school division has been working with the Regina Food Bank to develop a partnership that will maximize the available NSFP funding.
rpscommunications Thu, 01/29/2026 - 12:48JANUARY 28, 2026—This fall, the Balfour Collegiate Welding Program qualified for a CWB (Canadian Welding Bureau) WeldSAFE™ grant and received 12 CWB WeldSAFE™ PPE kits. The average value of each kit is $1,200, amounting to a grand total of $14,400 of personal protective equipment.
Each high-quality PPE kit includes a top-of-the-line 3M Speedglas auto darkening welding helmet, respirator, safety glasses, earplugs, Lincoln Electric welding jacket, gloves and Weldready spats.

This Council includes Elders, Regina Board of Education Trustees, school division senior administration and staff, and Indigenous education community representatives.
