Supplemental Learning Plan For Students And Families

April 3, 2020 -- This week, students, parents and caregivers will receive an electronic copy of the Students and Families Supplemental Learning Plan from their schools. Here is an updated version!

Please take the time to have a read. Teachers will also start contacting students and families this week.

Update-COVID-19; Thom remains open

November 3, 2020 -- On Tuesday, November 3, 2020, Saskatchewan Health Authority informed Regina Public Schools that a case of COVID-19 was diagnosed in a student at Thom Collegiate. For safety reasons, potential close contacts from the affected classes are now self-isolating until November 14 and will be continuing their learning remotely. Thom Collegiate remains open for all other students. If there are any additional close contacts at the school, they will be contacted directly by Public Health. A close contact is someone who has been within two metres (six feet) of someone for a cumulative 15 minutes.  The Saskatchewan Health Authority will contact any school family and staff member who may have been in close contact with the affected individual.

Covid Update, Classes Continue

November 2, 2020 -- On November 1, 2020, Saskatchewan Health Authority informed Regina Public Schools that a case of COVID-19 was diagnosed in a student at Thom Collegiate. For safety reasons, potential close contact students from the affected class are now self-isolating. Affected students will continue their learning remotely until further guidance is received from the Saskatchewan Health Authority.

Thom Collegiate remains open for all other students.

Strategy to Reduce Virus Spread

August 28, 2020 -- Regina Public Schools is implementing a three-part strategy to reduce the risk of COVID-19, as well as other viruses, including colds and flu, as students return to school and the colder fall and winter weather sets in. The strategy focuses on face masks, cleaning and increased, filtered ventilation.
