Back to School Information

All students return to school on Tuesday, September 2nd. Grade 9’s begin at 8:30am while all other grades 10-12 begin at 9:30am. This will be a full day for all students in Regina Public Schools.

9:30 AM  Grades 10,11, & 12 will go straight to their Advisory class (TnT).  If you are unsure of who your TnT teacher is, there will be lists posted and staff by the front entrance to help you out.  *Do not come to the office for your schedule, as your advisory teacher has it and will give it to you when you arrive to class.

Students will be given lockers to store their books/valuables.  Please note that locks are not supplied this year so you must bring your own.

Advisory class begins our day at 8:30am followed by Period 1.

CRP - There are no CRP (Campus Regina Public)classes on Tuesday, September 2.  Students enrolled in CRP classes will be bused to those classes starting September 3. The AM bus to CRP leaves at 9:55am and PM bus leaves at 12:36pm.

Other Important Information:

  • Lunch - is from 12:00 to 1:05pm.  Students who do not have a lunch hour class are welcome to go home or out for lunch. Alternatively, students can bring lunch and eat in our Commons Areas.  As well, our canteen, Thommy’s, will be open, selling a limited selection of meals and snacks.

  • School Photos will be taken on Thursday, September 18th starting at 8:30am. If you choose not to purchase a photo package, your photo will still be taken for the yearbook and student ID card.  ALL students are encouraged to get their photo taken. Do not send money on picture day.  A decision to purchase can be made after photo proofs are returned to you.  If necessary, retakes will be offered at the end of October.

  • Thom School Community Council (SCC) - in lieu of completing an annual fundraising event you may choose to donate to the SCC to help support school activities. This can be paid when you pay school fees. Our first SCC meeting and Annual Meeting will be Tuesday, October 7th @ 6:00pm  in the conference room.  Any interested parents are welcome to attend.

  • School Fees – will be available online by November 1. Some courses have fees associated with them to cover costs of consumables and materials for student projects. The link to pay for your school fees is https://rbe.schoolcashonline.com/
