Thom Beat Cancer Fundraiser

Thom Collegiate has a rich history of running a fundraising campaign called Beat Cancer.  Since 1997 Thom Collegiate has spent one week in April raising money for cancer research.  We have proudly raised over $289,000 since the tradition was started.  This year Beat Cancer week is April 25-30 and we will be donating funds to the Cancer Foundation of Saskatchewan.

Throughout this week we will have several activities to have fun and raise money.  We will be having a noon BBQ, a jail and bail games day, a movie afternoon and ice cream social.  Those are just a few fun things, there will be lots of other ways for students to spend/donate money this week! All money gets donated to the Alan Blair Cancer Clinic, helping people right here in our community!

Another project that we are planning, that will need support from our community, is our Bottle Drop Off day planned for Saturday April 25 from 9:00 am – noon in front of the school.  We could use your help and connections by bringing your bottles during this time and by spreading the word to friends and neighbours!  Your help is greatly appreciated.

Pledge sheets will also be available should anyone want to donate a lump sum. Parents are also able to donate on School Cash.  Any donations of $20 or more will get a charitable tax receipt.
