Balfour Arts Collective is an innovative high school program for students who are passionate about the arts

What: Balfour Arts Collective is an innovative high school program for students who are passionate about the arts. Dancers, actors, artists, musicians and performers build their skills while earning credits towards their high school graduation.

The program offers:

•             engaging, high-quality instruction from teachers with expertise in a variety of disciplines

•             opportunities to work with professional artists who share their talents and real-world experience

•             a school within a school, where students belong to a smaller community with artistically focused peers

•             the opportunity to be part of something exciting and engaging

•             the time, space, and resources needed for students to develop their artistic and creative skills, all at their fingertips

Who: The program is open to all students in and around the city of Regina entering grades 9, 10, 11, and 12 in the 2021-2022 school year, who are passionate about the arts. 

When: Applications for the 2021-2022 school year opened February 1, 2021 and close April 19, 2021. The early bird deadline is March 19, 2021.

Where: Students can apply online by visiting, and clicking on the  “Apply Now” tab. To apply, students will fill in and submit an online application form.

Learn More: We are hosting a Virtual Information Night on March 4, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. We encourage all students and parents to attend, to learn more about the program, meet the BAC teachers and Balfour administrators, and ask any questions they may have. To register for the Information Night, go to our website and fill out a short registration form. A Zoom link will then be sent out a week before the event.
