Learning Resource Program

The Learning Resource Program offers academic support to students of average ability registered in the regular high school program who would likely achieve success if they have moderate support. While grade 11 and 12 students participate in the program, priority is given to students in grade 9 and 10 who have a strong record of attendance and effort.

It is hoped this program will ease the transition into high school by offering direct support through strategy instruction, guidance and academic assistance.

Students are suggested by their elementary schools as those likely to benefit from this assistance. A team then chooses from that list after meeting with the elementary schools.
